"I could never do without cheese" or "I have to have a piece of grilled meat every now and then". Do you say these things yourself or do you hear them again and again from people you know? If you ask around, it seems that the number of flexitarians is constantly increasing. And that's a good thing. The facts are clear: we can reduce our footprint on this planet efficiently, immediately and simply by consuming fewer animal products. Our focus month is all about plant based: This type of diet means eating predominantly plant-based and unprocessed foods. So for example, lots of vegetables, fruits, legumes, whole grains, nuts and seeds. Protein-rich meat substitutes are also gaining in popularity. In contrast to vegetarian or vegan diets, however, animal products do find a place on the plate from time to time - but rather as a supplement, not as the main ingredient. Sounds feasible, doesn't it? The positive effects on the human body are proven: The plant-based diet is colourful, varied and provides the body with all valuable nutrients.
