In 2025, we’re celebrating an anniversary: the 10th edition of FOOD ZURICH. To mark this milestone, we’ll be constructing the longest table in Switzerland. Imagine: All of Zurich gathered at one table. Young and old, friends and strangers, united by the joy of food and conversation, reflecting and discussing the culinary future of our city. This is more than a festival—it's a culinary experience that connects hearts and weaves stories.
12 districts, 1 city—all at one table! Under the motto "Zäme für Züri," we’ll celebrate along the longest table in Switzerland. From Bellevue to Zürichhorn, a 1.2 km-long table will be set by the lake where Zurich residents will meet and where the 12 districts will showcase their culinary diversity and their district with a picnic.
The longest table event will take place on Saturday, May 24, 2025 (with alternative dates of June 14 or June 21, 2025 in case of bad weather).
How It All Began
Our culinary journey into the future began in 2012 when six of Zurich's renowned five-star hotels laid the foundation for FOOD ZURICH's launch in 2016 with the food festival il TAVOLO - Zürich bei Tisch. Thirteen years later, in 2025, the FOOD ZURICH festival will celebrate its 10th anniversary. Today, we look back on 564,900 visitors who have attended 1,033 events. We are especially grateful for the contributions of 2,800 restaurateurs, producers, and culinary innovators who have passionately shaped the festival program year after year.
Together with our partners and Zurich Tourism, we have helped establish the city of Zurich as an international culinary hotspot and, alongside the city of Zurich and Zurich's environmental and health protection authorities, focused the spotlight on the culinary future.
