Festival – Food Zurich

In 2025, we will be celebrating our 10th anniversary—and doing it in style! The anniversary edition will take place from June 12 to 22, 2025. The longest table in Switzerland will be set up along the shores of Lake Zurich, where we will showcase the culinary offerings of Zurich and its 12 districts. But that’s just the beginning—we’ve planned even more.

As the third-largest food festival in Europe, with over 100 events in and around Zurich, FOOD ZURICH brings people together, letting them indulge, discover new things, and learn with joy. For eleven days, everything revolves around enjoyment, trends, and culinary highlights. The variety is almost overwhelming—here’s an overview.

Next year, FOOD ZURICH will celebrate its 10th anniversary under the motto "Zäme für Züri" ("Together for Zurich"). From Bellevue to Zürichhorn, a 1.2 km long table will be set up along the lake, where the people of Zurich can gather and where the city’s 12 districts will present their culinary diversity and their district with a picnic.

There's a lot going on at the festival center during the festival: In two workshop kitchens, people will be busy cooking at numerous events. Exciting restaurateurs offer their dishes in the gourmet huts on the theme of “culinary future” and refreshing drinks are available at the two bars.

Culinary events, workshops, markets, food tours and talks. The events in and around Zurich are the heart of the festival. Would you also like to be part of the colorful program? We will be launching the call for applications at the beginning of 2025.

The Slow Food Market takes place right next to the festival center on Europaallee. You can taste, discuss and of course buy at over 70 stands. The Slow Food Market stands for conscious eating, enjoyment and the preservation of regional cuisine and the diversity of flavors. More information at the beginning of 2025.
