FOOD ZURICH Opening Bash 2024

3-2-1 and off we go with our spectacular opening party at the legendary Jelmoli Food Market - right in the heart of Zurich. Here, surrounded by exquisite delicacies, regional treasures and delicacies from all over the world, a very special kind of party awaits you. The chefs from the city's best 5-star hotels will spoil you: Baur au Lac, Marriott Hotel, Park Hyatt Zurich, The Dolder Grand, The Living Circle and the Lux Bar and Restaurant with the chefs from the Kongresshaus. Special highlight: Nenad Mlinarevic, celebrated star chef, will be at the stove for Miele and - flanked by the experts from the Jelmoli Food Market - will ensure pure indulgence. And that's not all: Hansjörg Ladurner from the Scalottas Terroir restaurant in Lenzerheide will be creating delicious moments for our guests.

Under the motto "Chuchitisch" we take you back to the magical world of childhood - our top chefs serve their personal favorite dishes. Experience nostalgic delights that bring back memories and conjure up the taste of grandma's cooking on your tongue. Each dish tells a story, rich in emotion and familiar flavors.

The FOOBY recipe platform creates great enthusiasm with its unique crêpes, refined with ingredients straight from the Alps. Thanks to graubündenVIVA and the producers from Austria, the most delicious treasures of the mountains come directly to our city. A real explosion of flavors is also promised by the talent class from the Allgemeine Berufsschule Zürich, which is working with gategroup to conjure up classic recipes in a contemporary way. A great way to take off!

From 9 pm, it's time to hit the house bar at Restaurant Sopra! Equipped with a bar, seasonal pre-mixes from Zurich's leading bartenders and Jelmoli Garden Party Gin, everything is ready for mixing pleasure. Fancy a wine cocktail? We'll show you how it's done with exquisite wines from western Switzerland - Chasselas Veritas! The beats will be provided by the incomparable DJ Skor, while Dominik Widmer will host the party as charmingly as ever.
